                • Welcome to the World of Ford Connectivity

                  Every 2020.5MY Transit Custom comes fitted with an embedded modem known as FordPass Connect. Using the FordPass App on your smartphone1, you can locate your vehicle, lock and unlock the doors, and even start the engine remotely to heat or cool the cabin to the last known setting2.

                • Blind Spot Information System (BLIS)

                  BLIS uses sensors to detect that another vehicle enters your blind spot whilst travelling, the system activates a warning indicator light which appears in the side mirror.3

                • Lane Keeping Aid with Lane Departure Warning

                  By monitoring road markings, every Ford Transit Van can now detect if you appear to unintentionally move out of your lane. If you do, your steering wheel will vibrate to warn you. If lane departure continues it will also direct you back into your lane by applying steering torque, unless your indicator is on.3

                • Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection

                  Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection is designed to detect if the car in front has unexpectedly stopped or a pedestrian steps out onto the road and can automatically apply the brakes if you don’t.3

                • Rear Parking Sensors

                  Standard on Transit Vans, an audible warning helps you judge the distance between your vehicle and obstacles at the front and rear, for easier parking and manoeuvring.3

                • Adaptive Cruise Control

                  If traffic slows in front of you, Adaptive Cruise Control can automatically slow to maintain a pre-set distance. Once traffic clears, it returns to your cruising speed.3

                    With an upgraded interior including, 8-inch colour touchscreen, smartphone integration, reverse camera & Apple CarPlay™4, the 2020 Transit Van makes a day at the office easy.5

                    New optional Technology Pack2 offers the latest smart features and driver assistance tech including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) with Pedestrian Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control3, Auto High Beams, Auto Rain-Sensing Wipers, Lane Departure Warning3, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert3 and more, available on Transit Custom models only.

                    Ample Loadspace

                    There’s no compromise when it comes to maximising your loadspace and the ease with which you can use it. Transit Custom offers up to 7.2 cubic metres (SWB) / up to 8.3 cubic metres (LWB) of loadspace including a load-through bulkhead, sealed floor, load compartment lighting and 8 clever tie-down loops.

                    Dual Side Load Doors1

                    Enjoy the benefits of the optional Dual Side Load Doors4, which makes it easier to load and unload your van from either side of the vehicle.

                    Rear Liftgate Door1

                    Unique to Transit Custom, the smart and sophisticated design of the optional Rear Liftgate Door4 lets you load and unload, even in the rain.

                     

                    Dynamic Stability Control5

                    Designed to help you maintain control in extreme driving conditions. If you deviate from your chosen line, sensors will aim to keep you on track by automatically regulating brakes and engine output.

                    Trailer Sway Control5  

                    When it detects trailer sway, the system is designed to reduce engine torque and apply the brakes to the appropriate wheel(s) to help restore control. 

                    Load Adaptive Control5

                    Intelligent systems are designed to calculate the vehicle’s weight and adjust the Dynamic Stability Control to optimise safety and driving performance. 

                    Six Airbags Standard5

                    All Transit Commercial Vehicles feature airbags positioned at the front, on both sides and at the head to enhance the protection of the driver and front passengers in the event of an accident.
